Sales & Marketing Strategy
For more than 20 years, I've gained experience conceiving, developing and selling award-winning integrated digital campaigns fueled by PR and social storytelling; creative content-driven online advertising; and graphic/web/app/SaaS/service design. I help clients find success with the creative expression of complex ideas in innovative, relatable ways that drive sales.
My career began in education, teaching Japanese school children English. I later moved to Tokyo and joined a top monthly magazine as a seller, and then became a reporter and editor focused on tech and lifestyle. I continued freelancing when I returned to Boston from the other side of the world.
From journalism I moved into Public Relations, event production, and social media marketing, working at MullenLowe for 13 years (focusing on consumer electronics brands). There I managed multiple client relationships, won business, and had a great time leading and collaborating with teams as an account director.
Given my integrated agency experience, joining Tumblr to sell native paid advertising, social strategy, site development and SaaS to agencies and the C-Suite at major brands was a natural progression.
Since Tumblr, I've been helping strategy, design, development and integrated marketing agencies with their own sales and marketing to grow their business with new client wins.
Helping brands connect with consumers in powerful ways -- through PR, social, paid and owned media -- fuels me. At the end of the day, they want to sell, and I've helped many amazing brands do just that (some pictured here). Check out a sampling of the projects I've brought to life for my clients.
